Area veterans were treated to a breakfast and program at Rising Sun High School on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012.

The ceremony included the posting and retiring of colors by the Korean War Veterans Chapter #4; band performed the National Anthem and Taps (by Rachel Romans and Ben Eads); high school chorus performed America the Beautiful and Go the Distance while the Fourth and Fifth grade students sang Nifty Fifty, American Tears and You’re a Grand Old Flag.

The band played American Flourish, a piece they played at the Statue of Liberty this year.
