There will be a benefit for the Michael Cutter family on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Schroeder Building at the Rising Sun Fairgrounds.

There will be music, a silent auction and food with the proceeds going to the family for funeral expenses.

The 59 year father of two died on Sept. 27. He is survived by his wife Connie; a daughter, Christina Cutter Bailey; a son, William Cutter, by three grandchildren, Timothy, Lisa and Maryella Cutter; by four sisters, Linda (Edward) Cox, Sharon (Richard) Probst, Jeanne (Rafael) Rios, and Patricia Hankinson; a brother, Daniel (Patricia), Cutter; father-in-law Emmett Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Bonnie Cutter.
