Many people in this community enjoy Shiner Community Park. The playground provides a nice area for children to gain activity. The walking trail provides many people the opportunity to exercise while enjoying the outdoors. There are many games and events held here.

The Rising Sun-Ohio County Park Board asks that all users of the park system to pick up after themselves. There are plenty of trash receptacles and pet waste receptacles in various places throughout the park. Pet waste transmits disease.

Please help us provide a clean and safe park system to all members of our community. As always, you must keep your dog on a leash in the park.
