Rising Sun physician, Dr. G. S. Fessler, has been appointed vice chairman of the Commission on Constitution and By-Laws for the Indiana State Medical Association.

Bobby Palmer, high school senior, is reporting the scores of the Shiner basketball games to this newspaper and the Cincinnati Post-Times Star.
Seven students in the high school made the all ‘A’ honor roll for the second grading period which ended last week. They are Norbert Cappel, John Espey, Nada Huron, Sharon Hall, Stephen Licking, William McClure and Deborah Salyer.

New information is available at the high school for parents who are considering college for their children. “College and You”, a booklet which contains six reprinted articles from American Youth Magazine, can be borrowed from the Ohio County Public Library, Rising Sun High School Library, or the High School Guidance Office.
1963 auto license plates will have new codes this year, according to Mrs. Gene Fox, manager of the auto license branch. Numbers will designate the county, followed by a letter to designate the license branch.
