Nine used vehicles at an Aurora dealership received front-end damage early Sunday, June 26, according to Aurora Police Department.

 Eldon Fancher is healing, but slowly, after another vehicle rear-ended and flipped his tractor earlier this month, said his wife Charlene Fancher.

“He took a real banging inside the tractor, and then it threw him out,” she said.

If neighbor Jennifer Willoughby hadn't heard the screams, the outcome for a woman pinned under a lawnmower in her pond might not have been as good, said Ohio County Sheriff Glen Potts.

Rising Sun High School announced its 2015-2016 award and scholarship winners during its awards day program Friday, May 27. The awards were published in the Thursday, June 9, Rising Sun Recorder and Ohio County News. Here are the scholarships, which amount to $443,748 without including the Lilly winner or 21st Century Scholarships:

Take the River, the historical documentary about southeastern Indiana will be televised again Sunday, June 12, at 3 p.m. on WKET, and Monday at 10 p.m. on KET2. It will also be aired 10 times during June on KETKY.
