County's tax rates approved, bills will go out on time

The Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) certified Ohio County’s 2013 budget order and tax rates on December 31, 2012, paving the way for on-time property tax bills. The budget certification puts the county in a position to have taxes due on May 10, 2013. Ohio County was the tenth county in the State to receive its 2013 budget order and tax rates.
