The Rising Sun Ohio County Community School Board met on Tuesday, Jan. 8 for its first meeting of the new year.

The board members signed conflict of interest statements for 2013. Harlan Holt Hoffman signed the Oath of Office for 2013.

Officers elected for the Board for 2013 were: President – Corey Potts, Vice President – Harlan Holt Hoffman, Secretary – Melissa Morris. Kelli Keith was appointed Board Treasurer, and Rita Scudder was appointed Deputy Treasurer.

The February board meeting (which is usually the second Tuesday of each month) has been moved to Monday, Feb. 11 due to a conflict
