Coach David Brown’s seventh grade Shiners recorded a split in games played last week.

They posted a 31-16 win at Shawe on Wednesday, Jan. 9. Brent Turner led the way with six points. Trevor Levi added five with Jason McClellan, Andrew Koons and Justis White scoring four each. Kameron Montgomery, Sam Markland, Austin King, and Steven Adamson scored two each.

The Shiners scored 31 points again on Saturday but fell to St. Mary’s 37-31.

Turner led the Shiners again with a game high 13 points including a pair of 3-pointers. King added eight, Koons four and three each by Markland and Levi.
