Ohio County Council and county commissioners approved the disbursement of more than $126,000 in riverboat gaming revenue to local entities and area counties, cities and towns during a joint meeting Monday, Jan. 21 at the Ohio County Courthouse.

The approval came after a report from lobbyist John Bond gave a report of gaming issues being considered at the statehouse in Indianapolis.

Bond told officials that a gaming bill has already surfaced and could be heard on Wednesday.
