| Gaming bill being watched, funds OK'd as county looks to form endowment |

Ohio County Council and county commissioners approved the disbursement of more than $126,000 in riverboat gaming revenue to local entities and area counties, cities and towns during a joint meeting Monday, Jan. 21 at the Ohio County Courthouse. The approval came after a report from lobbyist John Bond gave a report of gaming issues being considered at the statehouse in Indianapolis.
