A longtime staple to the community is closing.

The Storehouse in Allensville has been operated by John and Paulina Scudder for several years but will be closing soon.

The store will be opened on Saturday, Feb. 16 and again on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon.

People can bring in grocery bags and fill them for 25 cents. Any leftover items will be sent to missions.

Any monetary donations will be used to pay close out bills.
