For the second straight game, the Rising Sun Shiners fell behind 11-0 to an Ohio River Valley Conference foe and rallied only to come up just short of victory.

What would be considered a whitewash in ping pong didn’t fare well for the Shiners who trailed South Ripley 18-2 after the opening quarter and were down 27-14 headed into intermission.
