Public asked to help ID burglar

 

 

 

A burglary sometime overnight or in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Jan. 10, is under investigation by Aurora Police Department, according to an APD release.

Apparently a male suspect entered the office building at Core Metal Group on Franklin Street, Aurora, by forced entry through an exterior window, said APD, which responded to the company at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect stole five laptop computers and two cell phones. He also damaged property while inside the office facility, said police.

It was discovered that the same suspect attempted to make entry into a neighboring business on Franklin Street, the Stedman Machine Company, without success, said police.

The suspect is described as a white male, 17 to 25 years old, with a thin to medium build and shoulder-length brown hair. He was wearing a coat that was gray and white, light colored pants, and possibly boots.
