Rising Sun resident Mark Feeney works to manufacture critical vitamins for those on the Covid-19 frontline and the Armed Forces. One of his coworkers recently lost his parents at the hands of the virus. They lived in Erlanger and contracted COVID-19 after visiting St. Elizabeth South for other general testing. The man was 72 and had underlying heart issues, and the woman was 67 with no previous health problems. She died Thursday, April 23, just three days after her husband, said Feeney.
There have been six positive cases of COVID-19 in Ohio County as of Tuesday, May 5, and 46 patients have been tested.
