When Raymond Cutter received a plaque recently marking his 30 years of service to the United States Postal Service, the anniversary included his nine years’ active service in the U.S. Army, 1984 to 1992.

This year’s 4-H auction at the close of the Ohio County 4-H Fair brought a grand auction total of $62,715.98 for 76 animals, according to Ohio County 4-H. That included $54,475 premium and $8,240.98 base price.

That’s up from the 2017 grand total of $60,052.16.

As if being chosen king and queen of the 2018 Ohio County 4-H Fair were not enough, new royalty Queen Kinsey Price and King Nathan Kappes served as fair royalty once before.

The two were prince and princess of the 2012 Ohio county 4-H Fair.
