With a record turnout of 161 teams, the 13th annual Ohio County River Cats Catfish Tournament participants caught a total of 4,840 lb. of catfish – well over 2 tons!

State and city officials broke ground Friday for an upscale seniors housing project that’s been in the works for almost six years.

Jeremy James Barton, 29, was just starting out on his cross-country walk when he found a welcome in Rising Sun Monday, Aug. 28, and Tuesday, Aug. 29.
