Go jump in a lake for a good cause

Support Special Olympics Indiana by joining the fun of the Polar Plunge and After Splash Bash at Versailles State Park Saturday, Feb. 16.
The Versailles Plunge is one of 16 plunges around the state.
Last year’s event drew more than 300 plungers and spectators. The 12h annual Versailles Plunge promises all the chills and thrills that plungers have come to know and love.
The Versailles’ Plunge features a huge heated festival tent with great entertainment, the Plunge Food Court, the Razzle Dazzle Basket Raffle, face painting, games, and more.
Plungers must be at least 12 years old on the day of the Plunge. Participants under the age of 18 must have a signature from a parent or guardian.
Sound a little too cold for you? Get the “thrill” without the “chill.” Sign up to be a part of the virtual plunger program.
Or perhaps you just want to keep your feet on dry land.
Then support the Polar Plunge and Special Olympics Indiana by running or walking in the 5K run/3K walk Polar Climb.
This unique winter course will take you through the scenic hills and woods of Versailles State Park leading you to a spectacular view of the lake.
Pre-register for the walk/run by Feb. 8 and the $25 registration includes a t-shirt. After Feb. 8 registration cost is $30 with no t-shirt.
