Public invited to cemetery preservation class
The Ohio County Historical Society, Inc. is hosting a class on cemetery preservation Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The one-day class offers hands-on training in the six basics of cemetery preservation: biological growth cleaning, tablet setting, slotted bases, multi-piece monument basics, repair basics, and infill basics.
The class will be held at the Union Cemetery on Downey Street in Rising Sun where the public will be welcome.
