The CDC recommends social distancing, proper hand-washing and staying home when not feeling well.
The Rising Sun-Ohio County Park Board met on May 12, to discuss the reopening of facilities/amenities that fall under its direction. Discussion revolved around how to reopen facilities and amenities while keeping public health and safety as the top priorities.
Plans were reviewed and revised to minimize possible COVID-19 exposure risks to the patrons of the Rising Sun-Ohio County Park System.
The park board will continue to monitor the effects of COVID-19 and the stage levels set by Holcomb, CDC, and local health department guidelines. The board will adjust dates and plans as needed.
