Light plant explodes on Carmel Ridge

W. W. Miller, the Rising Sun chair manufacturer, bought 2,000 chair stamps last Tuesday. This is the largest number ever sold in one day by the deputy collector in this district. They cost $300.

The two Neill brothers of Helena, Ark., formerly of Rising Sun, have been awarded the contract for painting a new hotel at Memphis, Tenn., at a cost of more than $5,000.
