Over 100 elementary students signed up for the Time to Harvest Fall Camp the school offered free of charge. Students spend each day of the week visiting various parks and other landmarks throughout the Tri-State. They learned about their five senses, fossils, and how to track animals by their scat at Clifty Falls State Park in Madison. They visited the Big Bone Lick State Historic Site in Union, Kentucky, Versailles State Park, and General Butler in Carrollton, Kentucky. The kids also visited several farms including Wendel Farms in Brookville and Kinman Farms in Burlington. They pick out pumpkins, visited with farm animals, and worked their way through corn mazes. They even ventured to an alpaca farm and learned about the environment. Submitted Photos
